Accord Insurance Brokers PCC Ltd may be a new name to the insurance market, however the broking firm, previously known as KDM Insurance Brokers PCC Ltd, is no stranger to the industry. The company has been offering insurance broking services to its clients for a number of years, many of which have been with them since its inception.
Accord insurance Brokers PCC Ltd. is a joint venture between The KDM Group, the M. Demajo Group of Companies, Godwin Bencini and Graham Bencini.

Kenneth De Martino – Chairman
Kenneth De Martino started his career with the Thomas Cook Group managing financial services products in Malta and North Africa. Following 15 years of service which gave him the necessary background, training and discipline required he decided to move on and formed the Kdm Group. The KDM companies are involved in Travel, Properties, Resources and Traffic with joint ventures set up in Insurance (Accord Insurance Brokers), Ground Handling (GlobeGround), Security (G4S), IT (DataByte) and Tour Operating (OrangePlus). The biggest challenge was the privatisation and the setting up of Enforcement in Malta which today has been merged into the G4S set up. His vision of taking Kdm Group overseas is very much in the forefront and should also take him back to North Africa.
Godwin E. Bencini – Managing Director
Godwin E. Bencini had a long and successful career in the financial services industry. With over 40 years of experience in the insurance industry, he is considered to be a leading authority on insurance in Malta. He has set up Professional Indemnity and Medical Malpratice insurance policies for various professions including architects and physiotherapists. His expertise and excellent reputation in the field, is considered to be one of the major assets of Accord Insurance Brokers PCC Ltd. He is the Honorary Consul General of Slovakia in Malta and he is also the Dean of the Honorary Consular Corps in Malta.
Graham Bencini – Non Executive Director
Graham Bencini is a Certified Public Accountant by profession, a member of the ACCA global body of professional accountants, a member of the Malta Institute of Accountants and a member of the Institute of Financial Services Practitioners. He is the Managing Director of Bencini Demajo Corporate Services Ltd, a Financial Service Provider. He obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management & Computing at the Univeristy of Malta. He furthered his studies at the same University by obtaining a Bachelor of Commerce Honours degree in Business Management. He then went on to achieve a Masters Degree in Business Administration in 2001. Having obtained invaluable experience within the Advisory Services department at PricewaterhouseCoopers, Graham completed his studies by pursuing an ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) professional qualification.
Madeleine De Martino – Non Executive Director
Working in marketing provides an excellent opportunity for me to use her to use her creativity, so that her job as executive director of the KDM Group is a stimulating experience. The various sectors within the KDM group result in a marketing diversity which means that there is never a dull day at work.
Alexia Konidaris Balzan Demajo – Non Executive Director
David Raphaël Busuttil – Non Executive Director
David Raphaël Busuttil occupies the post of Director on a number of companies forming part of the M. Demajo Group. He is also the Chairman and a Director of The Currency Cloud (Malta) and Founder of Taktos Ltd. He obtained a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree from the University of Malta and furthered his studies with a Diplome d’Etude Approfondie degree from the Université Paris Sorbonne. He has written and edited a number of articles and publications, both for the general public and in academic journals. He is currently the President of Alliance Francaise de Malte-Mediterranée, Executive Director of Fondation de Malte, Treasurer and Board Member of the Association Européenne pour la Defense des Droits de ‘l’Homme as well as the Chairman of the Steering Committee of the Association of Human Rights in Malta. He is a Chevalier des Arts & des Lettres of France.
